The CSBL was represented recently on the Boston Celtics home court by Dave Kaminsky.
A great day for Dave, in his own words......

I arrived in Boston on March 18th ready to play. There were 20 who came as VIP Fans for the Boston Celtics game against the Miami Heat. Boston won the game in OT.

We started our game sometime after 2 PM. Of the 20 VIP fans only 9 actually wanted to play in the game. We had about 15 minutes of warm up on the Celtics floor before our game started. They left it up to us in dividing up the teams. We were given white and green Celtics shirts. There was one ref for the game and we played 4 on 4 with one sub. Our game consisted of four 10 minutes quarters with no stoppage for timeouts or fouls. The ref only started the game with the jump ball. The game was fun but by the 4th quarter we were all extremely warn out. The score was kept on the same score board the Celtics use during their game. Yes, I did score a couple of times! I was the oldest player by at least 20 years. Ages ran from 9 years old (our sub) to my age.

After the game a picture of me standing at center court was taken of me with my camera. We were told we will receive a copy of the game in a couple of weeks along with the picture taken at center court of all the VIP fans that showed up to play. We then showered and went to dinner. They showed the taping of our game in our dining room while we ate and until Jo Jo White came in and spoke to us. Jo Jo gave a great speed; took pictures with us and signed autographs. I had him sign the 2008 Boston Celtics hat they had given us just before dinner. I do want to mention that Jo Jo White was the best speaker a Boston Celtics fan would want to hear. He spoke of his career and everything one wanted and didn’t want to hear about this seasons Boston Celtics. Being a Boston Celtics all my life, I hung on his every word and could have listened to him for hours.

Our Boston Celtics game seats were about 10 rows from the floor. I would love to experience this again as it was something I will remember the rest of my life.
