 CSBL - IMPORTANT NEWS - 2010-2011 SEASON:
To ensure that you are included in the draft, your dues must be in by 12 noon on September 11th. For peace of mind you may mail your dues to Dick Oliphant, 46D Hollandale Lane, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Make checks payable to CSBL in the amount of $60 for captains and $125 for others. You may of course make your payment on September 11th, but every year someone is left out of the draft through some unexpected mishap. Don't let this happen to you.

Pennsylvania Senior Games Basketball Tournament
A CSBL team competed in Pennsylvania and brought back a BRONZE medal and qualified for the Nationals in Houston . The team: Mike Billman, Hugh Curry, Rich Lewis, Bill Johnson, Angelo Tarantino, and Greg Wilson. Click for Team photo

Mid-Atlantic Senior Basketball Tournament
A CSBL team captured a SILVER Medal in the Mid-Atlantic Senior Games and an automatic bid to the Nationals. The team was made up of Dave Goyette, Tom Ginnelly, Bill Tureby, Henry Gagnon, Mike Dorr and Andy George.

2010 Empire State Senior Games at Cortland
Four CSBL teams competed in at Cortland in the +50, +60, and +70 age groups:
1- The Colonie Seniors (Gold Medal ,+70) Bill Johnson, Wayne Kristel, Jim Sheedy,
Ed Shepard, and Harold Barend (Vestal, NY)
2- The Saratoga Slammers (Silver Medal,+70) Joe Maresco, Peter Barbagelata,
Chuck Hanson and Raffaele Stile (Long Island, NY)
3- The Cardinals (Bronze Medal, +50) Dave Goyette, Mike Dorr, Tom Ginnelly, Bruce Bergwell, and Vince Rua
4- Albany (+60) Rich Lewis, Greg Wilson, Mike Daggett, Dick Vosko,
Steve Steinhardt, Mike Long, Ed Dassatti, and Angelo Tarantino
