2016 CSBL Summer Picnic

Cost: None to Members and their Significant other. Additional guests upon request and donation.

Attire: Casual Summer Attire....a no judgement zone!

Starts: 1:30pm to 7pm (Can come earlier if you want to go swimming in the falls but you are on your own until picnic event starts as we will be setting up and unavailable to entertain).

Amenities: Swimming at Shinglekill Falls, Horseshoes, Crochet, Chipping Green,Short Hiking,site seeing, Hot Tub.

Optional AM Activities: Mountain Biking, Vigorous Hiking, Trout Fishing, Golfing (please indicate if interested in any of these activities when you RSVP!).

Nearby: Come early morning and Golf at Blackhead Mountain Golf Course http://www.blackheadmtn.com , or Drive Balls at Reidlebauers Resort http://www.riedlbauersresort.com or go mountain biking or hiking.

On Arrival: Dogs, Burgers, Snacks ,and liquid refreshments!

Picnic Dinner: 4pm, BBQ Chicken, Marinated and Sliced London Broil, Pork Loin, Caesar Salad, Applesauce, Baked Beans, and other hot items.

Refreshments: Beer (Bottle and Draft, TBD), Soda, Wine (white/red), and water. Self Serve Mixed Drinks available (a $3 donation) at Pinky's Bar located on the premises (do not miss this cool place to hang out with your buddies).

Pot Luck sides and desserts: As has been our custom at past Picnic gatherings we ask the membership to bring a favorite salad, side dish, or dessert (enough for 6 to 8). This has been a smashing success in the past with numerous and tasty dishes for all to sample and compliment.

Pot Luck Suggestions: Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salads,Veggie Platters/Dips, Fruit Platters/Dips, Cheese Tray and Crackers, Jello, Cakes, Cookies, etc...anything special or famous you want to eat & share.

Suggested to Bring: Towels, Bathing Suit, Sun Lotion, Portable Chairs, Bag of Ice, and your favorite Beer or Wine!

Parking: Available at venue (for those who cannot walk), and nearby. Someone will be there to direct traffic and parking.

I suggest that you car pool with friends if possible...especially if drinking, be sure to have a Designated Driver! If you think you may want to spend the night, let me know as there are accommodations at the Inn for 5 couples!

My contribution will be a nice Teriyaki Salmon cooked hot and fresh on the grill....my summer favorite!
