Team Mamba is sponsored by an anonymous donor who wished to honor late CSBL great Dave Goyette.  Dave, who himself sponsored the Thermal Environmental Sales team for many years, was a top scorer and a top defender in the league for many years before losing his battle with cancer at the age of 61.  Dave was a well-respected and well-liked player and CSBL Board member who lead by example and took on every challenge.  Dave averaged 35 ppg in his early years and finished his career as the CSBL all-time leader at 30.1 ppg, 4,601 total points, 540 made 3 pointers, 1,167 free throw attempts and 903 made free throws and 7th place in made 2 point shots at 1,039. In 2011, Dave set the single game scoring record of 56 points.
