Jim Danton
Mohonasen High School Athletics Hall of Fame
In 2010, Jim , Class of 1971, was inducted into the Mohonasen High School Hall of Fame for Basketball. Danton was a member of the Suburban Council co-championship basketball team (1969) and won the league’s scoring title at 19.2 points per game in 1970. He single handedly scored a record 44 points in one game in 1970, outscoring the opposing team and eventually becoming the Suburban Council scoring champion. Jim passed away in 2018.
