Joe Pinto, SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. Joseph J. Pinto, 89, died in Safety Harbor on Monday, September 17, 2018. Born on September 9, 1929, in New York, N.Y., he was the son of Philip and Bridget Pinto. Joseph lived in Slingerlands and Albany, and had a long career in carpentry, retiring in 2007. Joseph, aka Old Joe, played full court basketball on an over-50 league into his 70's. Joseph died of complications of Parkinson's Disease.
