This year for the first time, the league is issuing a Sixth Man of the Year Award. The Sixth Man is a player who generally does not start but who comes off the bench and makes vital contributions to his team’s success. A Sixth Man is generally a player who can provide instant offense, high energy, and/or intense defense. The Sixth Man typically plays a lot of minutes and gives his team a spark and a boost. Team captains voted to select the winners. Our first year winners are Angelo Tarantino of Morris Auto for the Albany division and Mike Emery of 518 Realty for the Colonie Division.
