CSBL-Hall of Fame – Sports Achievement

The CSBL was founded in 1989 as a league for men age 50+. Over the years our players have come from all walks of life and a wide variety of athletic experiences and backgrounds. Many are guys who did not play organized basketball and have been recreational players and play solely for the love of the game. Many played high school basketball. Some played college basketball. A few have been professional athletes in a variety of sports.
This site recognizes the achievements of those CSBL players who performed at an elite level as an athlete or as a coach prior to joining the CSBL. It honors the guys who are members of a high school, college, or state Athletic Hall of Fame and/or have played professional sports. Depending on the sport, high school athletes have a 0.03-0.4% chance of signing a professional sports contracts and an even smaller chance of actually playing and competing at the major league professional level.
