PHILOSOPY:

As more Americans continue to grow older and live longer – there is a growing need to help these couples and individuals organize their finances in a manner that will enable them to manage their own financial matters. People living primarily on fixed incomes and with declining assets, in particular, need to keep current on their revenues and expenses. My role is to simply act as a facilitator to help them achieve that goal. I am not a Financial Consultant, CPA or Lawyer. While reasonably knowledgeable, I do not claim to be an expert in any of these fields.

OBJECTIVE:

My goal is to be perceptive and flexible enough to help a client organize their Financial Assets into a system that enhances their overall knowledge – yet simplifies the management of their personal finances.

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND:

B.S. Degree in Accounting with a Minor in Finance from Alfred University Over 40 Years experience in Office Management/Corporate Finance/Human Resources

Over 45 Years experience in managing my personal finances and investments- Notary Public for 25 years

SERVICES:

FINANCIAL ORGANIZATION

The main focus of the Service I am offering is to organize a client’s financial records so that the client feels comfortable in the knowledge and management of their resources. If this were to include going through numerous old financial records/statements to determine the history and current value of an investment/expense – each item would be organized chronologically into a separate folder for their records. The system I have developed is based on a series of financial information forms. After completing these forms, much of the resulting data will be summarized on Excel spreadsheets. These spreadsheets are designed so that after their initial setup the client can update these forms in the future themselves. The client could then decide if they would like to forward any information to family or other interested parties.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

If a client wanted a longer-term relationship, other areas in which I could be helpful include insuring that all bills are paid on time, any checks are deposited and, or reconcile bank statements or other financial accounts. At vear end I could also assemble all pertinent information (1099s, W-2s, Year-End Statements, etc.) to expedite the work of their tax return specialist.

PROCEDURE & BILLING:

I intend do most of my work at the client’s residence – if convenient for them. I will leave all completed information at the client’s premises for their review. With the client’s permission or direction – I will share information with the client’s family or other pertinent parties. My fee will be based an hourly rate for the actual time I spend working with a client or their representatives. There will be no contract to sign and my services may be terminated at any time.
