     Tom, 84, played 4 years of basketball and baseball at Saratoga High.  His teams won the Section B title once in basketball and twice in baseball.  He played 4 years of college baseball at Union College.  Through the years he played pickup hoops with Al Ostrander, Joe Pinto, and Dave Lewis at the Albany Y, the DOCS Training Academy, then at U Albany.  He played many years of fast pitch softball in Albany and Saratoga before switching to tennis.  He played on the local singles tennis ladder and is a member of the organization’s Hall of Fame.  He and his wife were active in World Team Tennis where he served as Division Director of Senior Teams.  He joined the CSBL in the early 1990’s when the league played at Colonie High.  Tom worked in Information Systems for various State agencies.  He has 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
