Long time CSBL standout Greg Wilson is the member of 2 sports body Hall of Fames. He is a member of both the Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame (2017) and Oswego College Athletics Hall of Fame (2018). The former Oswego College basketball standout was inducted into the Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017 for his contributions at several levels of the game. Of those was an impressive résumé during his time as a Laker. Wilson scored at ease and was a menace on the boards, averaging a double-double over his career (24.5 PPG and 16.5 RPG). His senior year scoring average of 28.0 is still the single-season record at Oswego while his career scoring and rebounding averages are second in both categories. Wilson posted 39-point performances twice in his career while his 31 rebounds at Utica College on Jan. 30, 1968 remains the single-game program mark. He appears in several other top 10 program career, season and game lists for the Lakers.
Greg has also been a long term CSBL standout over 20+ years. He retired from the league in the top 10 of 6 different career statistical categories -Total Points (3rd with 4,184 points), Free Throws Attempted (6th-849), Free Throws Made (4th-649), 2-PT Field Goals made (2nd-1,742), Personal Fouls (2nd-702), and Games Played (3rd-312).
