Professional Tennis Player

Hugh played in the CSBL from approximately 2000-2010. As a teenager, he was a highly acclaimed amateur player including awards as both US and Canadian National Champion. The United States Lawn Tennis Association ranked Hugh Curry of Orlando, Fla., as the top 13-years-and-under boy tennis player in the country.  He later played for many years on the pro tennis circuit.

Curry, Hugh Robert was born on July 13, 1948 in Neptune, New Jersey, United States. Son of Beatrice Fernanda Curry.

Education
Bachelor, University of Pennsylvania, 1970.

He played #1 and captained the Penn tennis team for 4 years.  The team won 4 ECAC and Ivy league tennis titles.  Hugh played soccer and squash and was named Penn Outstanding Athlete of the Year.
